Giulianna del Popolo
PRINCIPAL DESIGNER & ARTIST
“I have always loved houses and homes. I have very strong sensory memories of the materials, textures and patterns I grew up with. As a child I would draw floor plans and create vignettes everywhere I could! Establishing my career in Interior Design was so obvious; I have never looked back.”
Giulianna has an Interior Design and Decoration qualification from leading design institute RMIT. In fact (some 30 years after graduating) she now teaches in this course as a sessional casual! She is an active member of the Kitchen Bathroom Design Industry member (KBDI) and is highly connected within Melbourne's design scene.
After exploring various roles for Melbourne Designers and high end builders, Giulianna established her own home practice in 2003. In 2016 GDP Interior Design Studio opened in Watsonia, concentrating on residential renovations, new builds and decorating. Giulianna is pleased to work collaboratively, and quality partnerships have been formed with local architects, builders and designers since then.
In between family pursuits and work, Giulianna is a fine artist and brings this artistic filter to her interiors, even offering custom commission artworks. She is passionate about all things colour, design, and creating spaces to feel good about!
Agnes De Sieno
DESIGNER
Agnes changed course from a corporate background to follow her love of Interior Design. Agnes has a Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration from Billy Blue College and her industry experience includes working with reputable boutique practices in Melbourne. With a focus on CAD and 3D drawing, Agnes brings design concepts to life.
Having experienced a home renovation first hand, Agnes is passionate about planning the transformation from old to new, and simplifying the experience for our clients. In her downtime she enjoys family time in her beautifully renovated home in Melbourne’s East.
